Operated by the nonprofit Friends of Big Bear Valley (FOBBV), this live wide-angle webcam tracks a wild bald eagle territory perched 145 feet high in a Jeffrey pine tree within the San Bernardino National Forest. The camera pans outward to provide a broad view of the nesting tree environment, surrounding canopy, and distant mountains. This secondary vantage point monitors the movements of the resident eagle pair, Jackie and Shadow, alongside their current growing eaglets, Sandy and Luna, as they branch out, practice flight coordination, and prepare to fledge.
